Small Route
Walking through the Urtigosa valley means to know some of the most beautiful corners of Rossas and Urrô parishes. The Urtigosa River and the Escaiba stream (one of its biggest tributaries) flow near some special villages, like Provisende, Lourosa de Matos and Souto Redondo, where the very typical chapels have a special grace. Along with the stream, you will find some mills still working, and at the beginning and the end (recommended) we can learn more about the commandery of the Order of Malta, from which Rossas is the global trustee.
