Santo António Memorial

The legend has it that this funerary monument, of elegant and quite enigmatic shapes, would be associated to the urn with the Santa Mafalda Queen's body. Although it is not unanimous, the memorial (or «marmorial») is a construction that appears often, in the North region, near the old main roads. The Santo António Memorial was moved to a local with more visibility, and is a real testimony of the importance of this people and these lands.
