Description: The male presents a gray head, chest and back, with stretch marks in the belly. The eye is yellow edged. The female usually has the same pattern, except in the color, that is bright rust-colored in the superior parts (red phase).

Habitat: It is common in all kind of soils, in woods and open space, even up to the foothills.
