Description: Wing-shaped bright base with a dark marginal stripe. Posterior wing with subterminal range of dark spots. Light blue inferior side. Anterior wing with a range of dark spots, surrounded by an orange stripe. The female is brown, with orange lunula. The inverse is more orange and the spots are more pronounced. When adult, it reaches up to 28 mm span. It is possible to observe the adult from June to August.

Habitat: Mountain waters with undergrowth or shrub vegetation.
