S6: “From mountain to the sea”

2023/2024 | Saídas de Campo no Arouca Geopark

Summary: This field trip will guide us to one of the highest points of the Freita Mountain: the geodesic landmark of S. Pedro Velho, located at 1077 m altitude, with a viewpoint that was renewed in 2015. In fact, with good visibility, from this point we can observe the whole plateau of the Freita Mountain and about half of the Portuguese mainland.
