S8: “From prehistory to the contemporaneity in the Freita Mountain”

2019/2020 | Saídas de Campo

Summary: The Freita Mountain’s plateau has been occupied by man since ancient times, not only for its morphology, but also for the abundance of useful raw material for the everyday life, whether in the prehistory or nowadays. The trail starts in Albergaria da Serra, where there was a hostel that has been built by the end of the 13th century and has remained intact until the middle of the 16th century, at least.
