História Urrô Bell Tower
Known for its Bell Tower, which stands out from the building, the Parish Church of São Miguel de Urrô is a Mannerist building, rebuilt in the 18th century. The bell tower is what remains of the Romanesque religious building from the late 12th and early 13th centuries. The current temple is the result of a rebuilding carried out at the end of the 16th century. Of particular note are the Ionic columns, typical of popular construction, as well as the base of the pulpit and the niche in the middle body of the bell tower, which has a 16th-century design. From the reconstruction, the altarpiece in the chancel, the statuary and two Johannine altarpieces in the body of the church stand out. This monument is part of the Vale do Arda and Zona Poente do Iter Hominis route.
