“Village of the people” is more or less the meaning of “Tebilhão”. During the mining boom, many of those who arrived in search of fortune and “black gold” flocked to this cradle valley. The stream that runs through here both watered and milled, and the streets are no stranger to threshing floors. From the dense houses, there is a privileged view of Cabreiros and the hills, green and wrinkled, punctuated by the colors of spring, until they flow into the streams and watercourses that pass through here.
