Still at the foot of the Serra da Freita, you’ll find plenty of reasons to be dazzled. The landscape is covered in a blanket of green and there are places like Viveiros da Granja and Pedras Cebola (G14) that are a must-see. The houses that dot the mountain in the villages of Ameixieira, Chão-de-Espinho, Espinho, Povos, Forcada and Santa Maria do Monte hold Freita’s treasures and are also worth a visit.
