09 – Between Romans and Christians – the history of Man in Arouca Geopark
#preescolar, #segundociclo, #senior
Starting from the Arouca Interactive Tourism Shop, where we can learn more about the history of the municipality of Arouca, we will visit the Arouca Municipal Museum, a place where we can learn more about the human occupation of the Arouca Geopark, the journey of its people, their habits and traditions. Then, by bus, you’ll visit the Casal Romano da Malafaia, an agricultural settlement from the end of the empire. Here you can see the Roman ruins and discover some traces of the Romans’ passage through the lands of Arouca, from numismatic treasures to gold mines.
