Hairy fernBlechnum spicant

A perennial plant with a short, oblique rhizome, densely covered at the apex with dark brown linear-lanceolate scales. The fronds are arranged in a dense tuft, the fertile ones being larger and less numerous, petiolate with narrow linear and spaced segments, almost completely covered by sori, arising in the center of the tuft and the sterile ones are penatipartite, with oblong segments, confluent at the base.
