LoendroRhododendron ponticum subsp. baeticum
Erect, evergreen shrub. It has smooth bark, which over time becomes longitudinally cracked. Its dark green leaves are alternate, short-petiolate and glabrous. The inflorescences are made up of 8-16 purple flowers. The fruit is hairless and contains numerous seeds.
