LicrançoAnguis fragilis

It has an inconspicuous neck and a small head, with a rounded snout and a very small, unidentifiable tympanic opening. The body is covered in very smooth, shiny scales. The back is grayish or dark brown and has a dark vertebral line. The ventral region is grayish or black.

Habitat Relatively humid regions, such as meadows and understorey, with abundant vegetation cover, and can also occur in wetlands.
