WeaselMartes foina

The body is elongated and fusiform and the tail is long and bushy. The head is narrow and triangular, with erect, rounded ears and black eyes. The coat is brown or brownish, sometimes rufous. On the chest there is a large white spot, quite characteristic, which runs from the throat to the beginning of the forelimbs, where it ends up forking. The legs have semi-retractable claws.

Habitat It occurs in various habitats, including humanized or rocky areas, forest areas, agricultural fields and riparian galleries.
