HornbillPernis apivorus

A summer species. The upper plumage is generally dark brown and the lower plumage is lighter (to white), with rusty-brown or even very dark coffee-colored stripes. The tail is long and has several bars, the legs are yellowish and the iris is grayish-brown in juveniles and reddish-yellow in adults. The plumage is identical in both sexes, but they differ in size, with the female being larger.
