Common toadBufo spinosus

It has a large head, a short snout and prominent eyes. The limbs are relatively short and sturdy, with four toes on the forelegs and five on the hind legs, the latter having poorly developed interdigital membranes. The skin on the back is warty and varies in color from brown to beige, while the belly is whitish or yellowish with dark spots.

Dimension Max. length: 15 cm

Habitat Agricultural areas, mountain ranges, dehesas and hardwood forests. During breeding it uses permanent watercourses.
