Black grosbeakAsplenium onopteris

Perennial herbaceous plant with a more or less short rhizome. The fronds are persistent and the petiole is blackish brown to purple-black, shiny at the top. The limb is ovate-triangular, with the first-order segments attenuated into a curved tip and the last-order segments lanceolate to linear, more or less jagged into triangular teeth. The sori have true indusium and are oblong and linear.
