Perennial plant, solitary or gregarious. Leaves are suborbicular to elliptic-orbicular, prostrate, sharply contracted at the petiole. Petiole usually pubescent. The scapes are erect, wider than the leaves, simple or sparsely branched at the apex, with 6 to 10 flowers.
