Lobaria scrobiculata

Leathery stalk, often with superficial dots; upper surface light yellowish-green or olivaceous when dry, turning dark gray or black when hydrated. The lower surface can be smooth or wrinkled, with a dark tinge and clustered rhizines. Rounded lobes with often powdery tips and clusters of bluish-gray round soredients on the margins. The photobiont is a cyanobacterium.

Breeding Season January-December

Dimension Stalk: 2-14 cm

Habitat In areas with some humidity and light. It grows on tree bark, soil, moss and, more rarely, rocks.
