Rock blackbirdMonticola saxatilis

The males and females of this summer species are quite different in color. The adult male, in summer, has blue plumage on its head and back, with a typical white spot (only evident on the back). The belly and tail are reddish-orange. In winter, the coloration of the male’s feathers resembles that of the female, being brownish, although some blue and white feathers remain on the males.
