Wild rabbitOryctolagus cuniculus
The gray-brown fur on the back contrasts with the lighter gray fur on the belly. The small tail is brown at the top and white at the bottom. The head has round eyes and brown ears. The forelegs are shorter than the hind legs, and the length of the latter is related to the species’ adaptation to jumping and, consequently, quickly escaping predators.
