FentanhaPolystichum setiferum

A perennial plant with a short, suberect rhizome. The fronds are arranged in a tuft, more or less persistent, with a petiole no longer than half the limb and densely covered with large, lanceolate, ruffled scales. The limb is oblong-lanceolate, bipennate. The 2nd order segments are ovate-lanceolate, auriculate on the upper side, mucronate-serrate and greenish-yellow. The sori are found at the ends of the secondary nerve.
