CarquejaPterospartum tridentatum
Erect, evergreen shrub. It has smooth bark, becoming longitudinally cracked over time. Its glossy dark green leaves are alternate, short-petiolate and glabrous. The inflorescences are made up of 8-16 purple flowers. The fruit is hairless and contains numerous seeds.
