Shape: the base is formed by a white stem that branches out to form a cream-colored “cauliflower”, becoming ochre and even reddish ochre in dry, hot weather; the surface is formed by short, narrow, compact folds with sinuous, dense lobes.

Flesh: white, fairly consistent and a little elastic

Spores: 5.5-7 x 4.5-5 µm, ovoid to elliptical, smooth and colorless

Taste: sweet and a little rough

Odor: pleasant, reminiscent of aromatic plants
