Common geckoTarentola mauritanica

It has a dorsoventrally depressed body and head. The body is covered in prominent tubercles, which give it a rough or spiny appearance. It often has dark and light transverse stripes, arranged alternately. The back is brownish, whitish or grayish and the belly is whitish, beige or yellowish. The legs are short and sturdy.
