The classroom is the territory of the UNESCO World Geopark of Arouca, where geosites, landscapes, rocks, minerals, rivers and streams, various elements of fauna and flora, museums and monuments enable learning in a non-formal context, enabling students to acquire skills that cut across various disciplinary curricula.

The Arouca Geopark is an open-air laboratory par excellence, so from Serra da Freita to Vale do Paiva or from the Historic Center of Arouca to the Mining Region, you’ll find a range of carefully prepared visits for students from pre-school and primary school to secondary school and university students.
