Co-financed projects

The Atlantic-Geoparks project aims to promote and disseminate the geological and cultural heritage of the Atlantic Geoparks in order to attract tourist flows and new economic activity. The Atlantic Geoparks will be equipped with state-of-the-art tools to promote Geotourism, the process of becoming “Unesco Geoparks” will be supported for the Atlantic areas that do not yet have this distinction and environmental education and awareness actions will be carried out around geological heritage. This project is co-financed by the Interreg Atlantic Area program.
