Projetos Educativos Rivers (con)Life
The main objectives of this educational project are to learn about the ecological state of the Ribeiro de Gondim and to encourage young people and the community to take a greater interest in its conservation. For this study, two sampling campaigns will be carried out, one in the fall and one in the spring. In each campaign, samples are taken at three sampling points to assess the physical-chemical, microbiological and biological parameters, in particular benthic macroinvertebrates.
The Arouca Secondary School, in particular the Science Club and the Science Workshop, collaborated in the development of this project. It began in the 2022/2023 school year and is expected to continue in the coming years.
