14 – Rafting Class IV with Clube do Paiva

Class IV rafting trip down the Paiva River, between Vau and Espiunca (about 4 km). An activity of pure contact with nature and discovery of the Paiva River, its natural and cultural heritage. It lasts one day, with around 2h00 on the water. The minimum age for the activity is 16 and swimming skills are compulsory.
Minimum of 15 students and maximum of 25 students.

Notes
- Minimum age to take part in the activity – 16 years.
- Swimming skills required.
- Specific subjects/courses covered by the activity: Physical Education; Tourism/Professional Course in Tourism and/or Tourist Animation and University Courses in Sport, Tourism and Leisure.
- The activity takes place from October to May, unless the water flow allows it.
- Activities can be canceled, free of charge, up to 48 hours before they are due to take place.
- Cancellations on the day before the visit will cost 50% of the price and on the day of the visit, 100%.
- In the event of adverse weather or other conditions that could jeopardize the safety of the participants or the quality of the service provided, Clube do Paiva reserves the right to cancel the activity and no fees will be due.
- Clube do Paiva provides helmets, vests, paddles, rafts and guides.
- Participants should bring wet shoes, a wetsuit and a towel (wetsuit and ankle boots can be hired – €10 pax).
- The possibility of a hot shower at the end, in the Espiunca changing rooms, costs €1.50 per person.
- Transfers not included
- The transfer locations do not allow the use of a 55-seater bus.
- Clube do Paiva has a 25-seater minibus for transfers, which costs 90.00€.
- Bring a USB stick for a free Digital Photo Report.
