16 – Cano-rafting with NaTour Way

Descend a section of the River Paiva, between the village of Paradinha (Aldeia de Portugal) and the river beach of Areinho, with an estimated duration of 3 hours. It offers an experience similar to rafting, passing through the rapids of the Paiva River, without jeopardizing safety. The descent is also preceded by a Jeep tour to the village of Paradinha, classified as a Village of Portugal.
Offer for accompanying teachers.
Points of interest: Garganta do Paiva, Icnofossils of Cabanas Longas, Mira Paiva and Aldeia da Paradinha.

Notes:
- Minimum of 6 students and maximum of 25 students.
- Specific subjects/courses in which the activity takes place: Physical Education; Tourism/Vocational Course in Tourism and/or Tourist Animation and University Courses in Sport, Tourism and Leisure.
- A 55-seater bus cannot access Paradinha. The group must travel by minibus.
- In accordance with our booking policy, activities can be canceled, free of charge, up to 72 hours before they are due to take place; cancellation the day before means a 50% loss of value and 100% on the same day. Exceptions are made for cancellations due to extreme weather conditions or other environmental factors that could jeopardize the safety of the activity.
- Provision of equipment for practicing the sport and safety accessories: helmets and vests.
- Participants should bring wet shoes, a towel and a change of underwear (possibility of renting a 4mm neoprene suit – €10 pax).
- This activity takes place between March and October.
- Personal accident insurance included.
