26 – Paiva Walkways, a 600-million-year-old story told by Why Not On Nature

A 4km journey that tells the story of planet earth over the last 600 million years, full of pure nature, with geology taking care of the rest, conditioning biodiversity and generating an immense cultural heritage. From the Aguieiras Waterfall to the Vau, there are endless species to discover, always accompanied by the sounds of the water of this magnificent Paiva River. Two interpreted geosites where the rocks speak to us and teach us their history.

Notes
- Minimum of 8 students and maximum of 80 students
- Specific subjects/courses covered by the activity: Environmental Studies
- 4 km walking route perfectly suited to this age group
- In the event of adverse weather conditions, the interpreted visit can be rescheduled for a new date favorable to both parties;
- 25% charge in the event of cancellation by the school;
- Includes:
- Why Not On Nature guide throughout the interpreted visit (1 guide per maximum of 20 students);
- entrance ticket to the Paiva Walkways
- compulsory personal accident insurance;
- compulsory civil liability insurance
- transfer from Vau to Canelas (bandstand / church), as it is inaccessible even by minibus next to the Paiva Walkways
- Excludes
- transportation to and from the points of departure and arrival. If necessary, the company can arrange transportation on request.
