Conheça Arda Ecovia
Located in the heart of the Arouca Valley, the Ecovia do Arda is a linear route that connects the town center to the parish of Tropeço. Over 11 kilometers, which can be covered on foot or by bicycle, you can discover life in the valley, marked by the cultivation of the land, and the natural and cultural heritage of the banks of the River Arda. With a medium/low level of difficulty, the Arda Ecovia displays bilingual information panels, which explain the geology, biodiversity and history of this part of the Arouca Geopark.

Visita Educativa
The Arda Ecovia invites you to discover the Arouca valley and the Arda river over almost 11 km. It’s a distance that can be covered on foot or by bicycle while being surprised by the diverse species of fauna and flora, the river dynamics and the various elements of geodiversity that, along with the climate, give this region fertile soils that have been used to produce corn, vinho verde, fruit and vegetables since ancient times.
Along the Ecovia it is also possible to find infrastructures that allow for complementary activities and improve the reception of visitors, such as Parque da Cavada, in Santa Eulália (windmill and structures for developing motor skills), Parque de Zendo, in Rossas (obstacle courses for bicycles – pump tracks) and Parque da Ribeira, in Tropeço (outdoor gym, tree climbing circuit and climbing wall).Educational Visits16 – Tailor-made Program
