Conheça Drave

“Magic Village”. This is Drave. Protected by the mountains, the schist houses highlight the white of the chapel and invite you to discover the movement of the waters of the stream, the singing of birds, the free flight of insects and the curves of the paths that cut through the village. There are four kilometers of walking trails to the village (PR14 – A Aldeia Mágica). Uninhabited since 2000, the Scout Center has carried out various building renovations since 1992, transforming Drave into the National Base of the IV Section of the National Scout Corps. Since 2012, this base has been recognized with the SCENES seal of excellence(Scout Centres of Excellence for Nature and Environment ). Drave has the only recognition of its kind in the whole of the Iberian Peninsula, out of a total of only 13 scout centers worldwide.
