Educational Project “Iter Hominis” Inspires Workshop «History on the Microphone»

On Wednesday, June 11, students from Arouca Secondary School took part in the workshop History on the Microphone, as part of the educational project Iter Hominis.

Guided by radio host Tony Noites from Rádio Regional de Arouca, 10th-grade students from the Languages and Humanities course learned about the process behind creating a radio spot. During the session, they developed an advertisement focused on Praça Brandão de Vasconcelos and the cultural heritage of Arouca’s Historic Centre.

Inspired by “The Route of Man in the Arouca Geopark”, this educational project aims to raise awareness among students about the importance of cultural heritage, promote its preservation, foster scientific curiosity, and develop interdisciplinary skills for a holistic understanding of the territory.
