Formação e Sensibilização Arouca Geopark interpreter
Tourism is an activity that relies heavily on the direct relationship between the service/product provider and the customer, the latter being increasingly informed, with a more demanding demand and a necessarily more qualified offer – a trend reflected in the type of services and products available, as well as their level of quality. In this context, it is essential to regulate the interpreted visits service in the Arouca UNESCO World Geopark so that it is recognized as a quality service.
Given this international recognition, there has been a significant increase in the number of visitors to the territory in recent years. Consequently, and given the characteristics of the territory, it was deemed necessary to ensure that these visitors understand and value the existing heritage through interpretation and personalization of the sites visited, with the aim of adding value and enriching the visitor experience, thus justifying the creation of this Arouca Geopark Interpreter training course.
