Frades River

It is not certain if it is the river that gives the name to the village, or the opposite. But it is certain that these two only make sense together. The Frades River is strongly connected to the mining, but not exclusively. The beauty of its banks and the magic embracing them, in the ways we have to access them, provide them a very particular charm. On top of this, its geological characteristics make the waterfalls privileged places to practice canyoning.
